Windows Update stuck 0x80070057(2015-11-15-T-12_56_47)

Hi guys!

I have a big problem with Windows Update
0x80070057(2015-11-15-T-12_56_47)

I never would like to upgrade to win10, for many reasons, but it happened
I stopped the update, or probably it stopped itself due to obsolete hardware, or limited HD space... anyway

WU is stuck asking me to reboot, anytime
(similar situation here:

I delete all files downloaded with Disk Cleanup
I tried to run Diagnostic (see picture)
then
I tried sfc /scannow (no errors)
I tried the script Reset_Windows_Update_Full

no way...

I hate MS!!! Really...

Non sempre bene fermarsi in fase di aggiornamento . Per vostra informazione , Windows 10 possono essere ripristinati a Windows 7 per 30 giorni dopo l'installazione . Non pubblicare l'intera cartella cbs , solo il CheckSUR.log farà per ora.

Will your computer still boot?

Not ever good stopping update in progress. For your information, windows 10 can be reverted to windows 7 for 30 days after installation.

Don't post the entire cbs folder, just the CheckSUR.log will do for now.

About win 10 silent installation:
I changed WU settings
why MS play tricks of that kind... I really hate that!!!

I didn't stop win 10; probably it cannot deploy itself on this machine, it's too old (VAIO FZ31s) and
my video card is also unsupported (NVIDIA 8600M GS), moreover I don't have enough HD space on my laptop

Salvarlo sul desktop , quindi fare clic destro su di esso e scegliere Esegui come amministratore . Se il problema non è ancora risolto ; si prega di caricare il tuo file WindowsUpdate.log . È possibile cercare il file digitando WindowsUpdate.log alla ricerca del menu Start di .

After the program runs check to see if it fixes the issue; if not then download the Windows Update Reset full bat.
Save it to your Desktop, then right click on it and choose Run As Administrator.
If the issue is still not resolved; please upload your WindowsUpdate.log File. You can search for the file by typing WindowsUpdate.log in the start menu’s search.

Questa è una buona notizia! Nella peggiore delle ipotesi sarebbe Riparazione installazione , conserva i programmi installati , file, cartelle, musica, immagini , ecc , appena sostituisce windows 7.

That's good news! Worst case scenario would be Repair Install, preserves your installed programs, files, folders, music, pictures, etc., just replaces windows 7.

I downloaded the program and scanned it with Virus Total 0/54 it's clean!!

Took quick look at windows update log, few FATAL errors, have to do some research on them.

No the issue still remains

Every power on/reboot, after 10 min, the WU pop-up is shown, asking to reboot...

Running out of disk space might, I'm not sure, but I don't thin so.

Error code 0x80070005 is also known as "ACCESS DENIED." It usually occurs when you lack file or registry permissions that are required to install the update.

Check whether the System Volume Information attributes is set to Read only. If it is, uncheck it. Right click on SVI >Properties. While in the Properties tab, check the Security settings and that System has been given Full control.

For this you have to unhide all hidden folders and protected Operating system files in Folder Options > View.

When done do not forget to hide them again.

Try this next

Download the SubInACL tool, and install it to the default path that is offered by the installer.

download attached, extract to your desktop & run it.

Try Windows Update again

If that fails, I'd recommend Repair Install.

Do you have Win7x64 DVD?

Do you have 25 character Windows product key?

anyway before "repair install" I will upgrade my hardware here
and prepare for a clean install



p.s. my new CPU is on route
bigger HD and new WiFi card are arrived yet
