Wired LAN Connection: "Unidentified network" No Internet Connection

Hi, I'm having a little bit of trouble connecting my computer to a wired internet connection. My wireless works, but some of the programs I am running require wired connections. My Physical connections are pretty weird, so I think I'll get that out of the way first. I have an AT&T wireless modem. The modem is also connected to a Cisco-Linksys Etherfast 10/100 5-port workgroup switch which allows me connect into any ethernet socket around my house. I've tried about 4 different Ethernet cables so I know that isn't the problem. I ran IP Config and it gave me this readout:

I want to thank everyone who took their time to read this. I would be extremely grateful if someone knew the solution.

EDIT 1: I have McAfee, and I disabled McAfee Network Agent. This didn't solve the problem.

If you are only using a modem then you would also require a router in order to have multiple DHCP IP addresses, unless maybe you are using a modem/router combo unit.

A switch can't do what a router can, what you really need is modem>router>switch>other machines plugged into router or switch.

From the ipconfig you aren't getting anything from the modem.

Im not sure if it is a modem router combo. I use a Netgear DSL Gateway Model 7550. I'll try putting my router in the middle to see if there is any effect.

You appear to have been right. It was a problem with the setup. I added a router in between the switch and the modem and it worked perfectly. Thank you for your help.
