Solved Wireless connection works, wired connection does not.

So last night, my wired connection was working. I did not install any new software or download anything. Tried getting on the internet today and nothing. My computer has an IP Address but I can't get onto the internet at all. I can't ping google. I can ping my IP address assigned, can't ping my default gateway...

I have tried a different ethernet cable and I have changed the switch the computer is connected too.

I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the ethernet drivers.

I have already performed an ipconfig /release & ipconfig /renew. I also tried ipconfig /flushdns.

I have performed a netsh winsock reset, netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log, netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log, netsh int ip reset.

After performing all of the above I am stuck with the exact same situation.

Additionally, the link light on the computer is on and blinking.

Fixed it...unplugged the switches, let the power stay off for about a minute. Plugged the power cord back in and it worked.
