I just finished building a new PC and installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit today. I have an ASUS Wireless PCI Express Adapter (PCE-N13 802.11 b/g/n). DSL, with a Linksys rounter. Theres just a red X mark on the taskbar and it won't show any open connections =/. I have several wireless devices that work even outside the range which is about maybe 5 meters away from the router. Its pretty much impossible for me to run a wired connection to my PC and need to have a wireless one since theres many tables/couches/chairs inbetween the router and my new PC.

Intel i5 2500k - CPU
ASUS P8Z68 V PRO - Mobo
GTX 560 Ti - Graphics Card
8 GB Corsair Vengeance - Memory
500W Antec - PSU

Did your install the drivers for the mobo? It sounds like there is no LAN driver loaded. What does it look like in the device manager?

I installed the CD that was given to me with the motherboard.. it doesn't show in device manager..or i'm just not sure what i'm looking for. I installed the drivers for the wireless adapter before also which didn't do anything.

Expand Networking controllers in device manager and see what you have, any yellow signs or other symbols saying it's disabled:

Okay so my computer is not detecting that the PCE-N13 Wireless Adapter is even there... It is plugged in and the green light is on. Anyway to troubleshoot this?
