Solved WMP Network Sharing Service Freezing Computer

Hi.
A program called Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service keeps using up all the physical memory. I end the process in windows task manager but it keeps starting up again. I tried to delete the file that keeps starting up but ofcourse that would cause some problems and it also said that I need permission from 'Trusted Installer'.

Could some one help me with sorting this out so the program no longer runs please.

See if setting it to manual and stopping the service helps. Type services.msc in the start search box, click on the icon , when the window opens scroll down to Media Player Network, right click and choose properties.

Ok I have tried that.
Just now got to see if it doesnt start up again in the next 12 hours my laptop is on.

If not, you can set WMP Sharing Service to disabled if you don't want to play WMP files over the network.
