WOL setting switches off on restart

Hi all. New here.

Had windows 7 running on my PC for years without issues. I setup WOL around a year ago and it's worked perfect up until around 4/5 months ago. What happens is when I switch the PC off and turn it back on again(or restart), WOL has been switched off automatically. What I then have to do is pop back into device manager, right click on my Ethernet card(Realtek - drivers upto date) and re enable the WOL settings.

I've tried everything I can think of and its really baffling me now. Before I try a full restore does anyone have any ideas what could be causing the issue and any potential fixes?

Hi welcome to the forum

i would check the bios in the power settings for something like remote wake up. also if their is a setting in same area about low power mode make sure it is set to off.
