Impressive - if you want to spend $350. And you need a lot of room on or under your desk. I like the modularity especially if you want to house a lot of gear.

Maybe the new Corsair 900D and the tried and true Silverstone Temjin should also be closely considered....but I love cases with handles !

My three biggest problems with the case are:

1. The side panels have to open at least 45° before that can be removed. One would need a lot of room for this case, aside from its huge size. Cooler Master should have designed the panels to be removable after having been opened a few degrees; it's doable since I seen it done on other cases.

2. The thing is seriously HEAVY! It's almost fifty pounds before anything is installed. They should have included forklift slots (and a forklift) for lifting it. It's definitely NOT for LAN parties! At my age, it's just too darned heavy for me.

3. The dust filter for the PSU slides out to the rear. It's hard to get at there, you will probably find cables from the rear I/O ports getting in the way, and you have to either leave enough room between the case and the wall so you can get the filter out or you will have to pull the case away from the wall every time you need to access the dust filter; remember what I said about the case being heavy? Since Cooler Master designed this case to be as modular as possible, they should have also made the mounting brackets for the PSU filter also modular so one would have the option to reinstall it to allow one to remove the filter from either the right or left side of the case.

Other than those three things (one of which being fatal for me), I like what they have done with the case. The reviewer's complaint about the thumbscrews securing the PSU mount seemed a bit exaggerated; all one needs is screw driver to install or remove them. How often would one be pulling the PSU, anyways? Also, I didn't understand the reviewer's complaint about the lack of a USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 header adapter. Most MOBOs sold today have at least one USB 3.0 header. If one is installing a legacy board with only USB 2.0 headers, inexpensive adapters are easily available online.

I love the hot swap bays. Pity one of them isn't 2.5". Cooler Master should make that an option.

Good point LF about filters, nothing bugs me more then having to unplug everything and pull it away just to get to filters to clean. All case fliters should be removable without this hassle.

If I'm not mistaken, quite a bit of that case is plastic.........I don't know your personal opinion on the matter, but I prefer a minimal amount of plastic.

That beast needs wheels and a tow bar. Pity Cooler Master doesn't have a smaller, lighter version. Making it all aluminum would also shave some weight off.

Thank you all very much. I have seen many reviews on this case but the opinions here mean more. The price is I think is what would one would expect for that case.
Good point on the P/S filter. Should of come from the side. Moving that case around when completed would be hell just to clean a filter.
The 45 deg door removal is another great point.
Hell they are all good points.
I picked up on another review that one would not be able to install a thick radiator at the top because of the motherboard position. You would think that they could of lowered the motherboard mounting a inch or so with all the size of the case.

Good decision. Good case if you have 2 meters clearance for 360 degrees.

Layback, if you are considering the Cosmos, you are obviously considering water cooling. Don't get me wrong, the Cosmos is an excellent case. I considered it myself. Having said that, there are cases out with better options for water cooling. One being the fairly new release of the Corsair 900D. It is an extremely large case and very heavy too. But amazing builds can be done in them. I sincerely doubt there is a product on the market that you would have to ask whether it will fit the case. Reading some consumer reviews, there are some complaints about the quality of the case. Nothing that can't be easily fixed, but there are some. Another case that has caught my attention has been released in the past couple of days. It looks to be amazing and very configurable. It is the Phanteks Enthoo Series Primo. Watch the video (there are several one after the other.) and read some reviews on it. It seems that they have built a case made for water coolers. It even has a bracket to hold the reservoir and a place to put the pump already laid out. The PSU goes in the rear of the case which should make cable management very easy. The only drawback I can notice is the max length of video cards is 10.1" But, that is with the Reservoir bracket installed. Without the bracket you can go to a 12+" video card. Personally, I don't see the problem with that. It just means that if you have a long GPU, you are exactly where you would be with any other case. Put it where you can find space, but it also shows the forethought that went into the case. I would like to see some user reviews first, but with what I've seen, I don't see how you can think about serious water cooling and not consider this case.

EDIT: Not to speak of the fact that it is $100 cheaper.

Thanks, Jack. I am currently moving my rig into a switch 810 (annother water cooling case) and have everything just about ready to go, including another radiator. I saw this case and put a hold on my plans. I'm seriously considering buying it. If you're not familar with Phantecs, they make CPU coolers and have one that rivals the Noctua NH-D14, in my opinion the best air cooler on the market. Their coolers are top quality. If that quality carries over to this, their first case, it would be a great case. It must be too. Several reviewers have said it is a strong contender for case of the year.

I going to order one from my local dealer tomorrow. I don't use PayPal or credit cards. It does cost me a little more but that case is worth it.
