Since last update i have noticed that several of our customers looses connection to the WPA crypted wifi. When we change the crypting to WEP it solves the problem. Anyone else have experienced this?

Hi yourlocalISP, welcome to sevenforums. I had a similar problem on the other half's lappy yesterday evening. She noticed that it was "configuring updates" when she switched it on. Since then there was no connectivity available(WPA2). Checked router and tried using ethernet..no good. Tonight I did a system restore to a point previous to yesterday. On completion all was back to normal so I'm putting it down to a duff update.

Hi rbeldua, I don't know which if any of yesterdays updates caused the problem, I am just relating what symptoms we had since the updates was applied and how I overcame the problem. Check your restore points by going Start\Control Panel\Recovery select "Open System Restore" and "Next". In the next screen check "Show more restore points" then select a restore point before yesterday but after the date you installed the software you want to keep. Then select "Next" to carry out the restore. Good Luck!!
