x64 BSOD after "sleep"

I know this is an old thread, but it comes top on Google, so here is my solution:

My computer (Asus P5K) would crash after sleep if memory was running at anything else than 1:1 to FSB.

Windows 7 sleep problems

I was just about to give up with windows 7 crashing when it came out of sleep. I decided to turn the sleep mode of completly and all my problems stopped. I rather have some waste of power than my PC crashing every time I leave it unattended.
Hope this helps. It is a simple fix till microsoft wakes up to itself and fixes the problem. My guess it is a compatibility problem with the 64 bit system.
