XP will not load dual boot system Win7

Hi All,
hope someone can help last night using win XP home Kaspersky detected Trojan and has quarrantined the files. Today win XP will not boot. Can anyone advise how to get the dual boot to stop so that I can repair the XP setup with CD. If i boot to the cd it says reboot and run repair but I do not get to setup screen, Win 7 is on a removeable drive so can be taken out

Using the CD to repair the instllation willnot reove the virus.

I would suggest running SUPERAntiSpyware FREE Edition
and Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

To try to get rid of them.

BTW, what anti-virus program were you running originally?
