I know. My dad got it for me. I was 9 or 10 and wanted one. It's amazing I really used it. For about 2 years I created programs (in BASIC) and copied books of code to create cooler programs. I wish I had stuck with it. Maybe I would be making millions with video games. haha

My first "computer" was a ZX80, if I could remember the specs you would laugh!!
My first real pc was an Emachines running Windows ME (8 years ago), it had 10gb HD 256mb ram and that's all I remember.
The good news is it's still running. I gave it to my niece 4 years ago so she had a PC for her home work and the internet. She's taken good care of it and it still runs as well today (?!) as it did the day I bought it.

The first computer I can remember using was the mighty TRS-80 and we used to play space invaders on it.

After that I had an Amstrad but the only thing I really remember about it was that it used Gem Desktop as the OS.
The next was a Packard Bell with Windows 3.1 on it.
After that I had a Gateway with an Intel i133 processor 32mb of ram on-board audio/video 5gb HDD and 28.8k dial up internet. I used to play Ultima Online on that back when it was released about 12 years ago now. It had Windows 95.
I also owned an HP Pavilion with a Celeron 533Mhz 256mb ram and a 128mb nVidia video card. It had a 40gb Quantum Fireball HDD in it and Windows 98SE.
I had a Pavilion 506a if I remember the model correctly which had a Celeron 2.7Ghz in it and an 80Gb Seagate Barracuda HDD. On-board audio/video and 512 ram. I changed out the motherboard for an Intel board and added a Radeon 9550 256mb graphics card and a Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum and 2Gb of Kingston ram which I put copper heat spreaders on. I also added a better CPU cooler to replace the cheap aluminum stock cooler. I mounted it all in a new case as well. I replaced the optical drives with an LG dvd burner.
After that I built the system I am currently using but this system is a constant work in progress as I am always moving to better hardware as I can afford it. Now if they would just release the HD4890 Atomic...
