General Information The tutorial is based on two laptops running Windows 7 and Windows XP. It is assumed that you have the w7 machine already connected to the internet. I always have index disabled, and can't get at these settings without turning it on first. So here's my work around if anyone is interested. I've added the string "PerceivedType" with a value of "text" to any file types I want to search inside (with index off), this will direct windows to actually search inside these file types.
