If you have an uefi installation, you need to boot into the system recovery using uefi.
The system repair disc created in win7 is not uefi compatible.
The installation dvd should be uefi bootable:
In bios setup, make sure the DVD drive is set to the same mode Windows was installed. In your case, uefi.
If you are having difficulty with that - it may be easier for you to create an uefi compatible usb stick from your installation iso.
You could use rufus to create the uefi bootable usb stick,, but this is simpler:

The default is FAT32 - leave it like that and it will support both uefi and bios booting.
