So it this the best solution? correct me if I'm wrong. Basically I have to connect the SSD to them cables I posted pics of and the SSD has to live in that 'empty bay' area? So moving forward it should not be connected to where it currently is.
I will be away for most of the weekend so probably will not get a chance to try this, but when I do I will give you an update as soon as I can.
