Hi. I am trying to print a message which is in my Live Mail Inbox folder. In Vista I would either right click on the message and select Print in the context menu or I would use File-> Print from the top menu. With Live Mail there is no Print option after a right click, and there is no File option in the top menu.

Hi,

If you rightclick on the message header of the message you want to print on the left side of the screen you should see the print option.

If your using the 2011 version, you could try clicking the message, then go to the big blue dropdown icon (part of the ribbon menu) and click print. I don't have a printer set up on this computer so I can't test.

Thanks guys.

I don't know which version of WLM I am using but this is what it looks like:

Capture.PNG

I have found that if I click on to the icon to the left of the message tab I get a menu with:

New, Save, Print, Properties and Close options. Is this the substitute for the File menu, do you think?

So I will use this when the message is fully open and use right clicking on the left of the header when not, as suggested by MK.

Thanks again.

Ken

Another option is to activate the print button on the quick acces bar (the top bar on the left next to Inbox - Windows Live Mail)
You can click the little black arrow pointing down, it will open a little menu where you can select print.
This is possible for the main window of Windows Live Mail and the message window.

I'm not familiar with WLM, but in Outlook, I don't believe you can print a message from the inbox folder, you have to open the message, first, *then* print.

I am having a similar issue but though I find all the print icons and use them, it never even tries to send the print job to the printer.
