I am getting BSOD cdd.dll PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA when I quit the game like call of duty series.I usually keep Yahoo Messenger in the background and then play the game.Game works fine but when I quit the game the following B SOD comes. If there is no yahoo messenger running in the background BSOD wont occur. But I want to run it for messages and emails from friends. This is my new system and Previous system had too this problem.I sold previous system due to this since I thought it could be hardware issue. Now the new system has too errors. Please help me its urgent..All drivers are latest including BIOS.
I dont know to to upload minidump files here.i have uploaded here but please change the extension from .txt to .dmp . I did so since I couldn't upload the file with .dmp.

I don't think it's your main cause. But it's the only driver in that lonely .dmp (.txt) file that was pre Windows 7. You never know your luck!! :D

The file cdd.dll is a Windows System file and is unlikely to be the cause of your BSOD. It was probably the process that happened to be loading when the crash happened.

the file cdd.dll is a windows system file and is unlikely to be the cause of your bsod. It was probably the process that happened to be loading when the crash happened.
hello...again bsod error has occured while playing black ops with yahoo messenger in the background..i was chatting with a friend for some time and after that i minimised the yahoo messenger and played..when i quit the game,it occurred..

Have you got Daemon Tools installed at all?

The dll itself is most likely not the cause of the crash, it happens to be the last referenced dll loaded prior to the crash.

Download and install CPU-Z Take snips (screenshots) of the Memory and SPD tabs. One of each slot # used if you have more than one stick of RAM.See here for an example. Pin them directly to a post, do not zip them.

Run Memtest86+ overnight, after your computer has been off for about an hour . Let it run for at least 7 passes, should take 6-8 hours. If errors appear you can stop. Post back with the results.

there is no error while doing anything other than y.messenger.. no errors wen i use gtalk and games,or anything with games.
That sort of tells me it's a Y.Messenger thing as it only ever happens whem you're using Y.Messenger.
