Hey, I'm in need a more hard drive space on the computer, I want to invest in 2 new 500GB drives and maybe put them into RAID 0, my current hard drives are a 500GB Hitatchi and a 1TB Hitatchi.
So a couple of questions.
Is is ok to have separate hard drive makes in a computer? So having 2 Hitatchi drives and 2 Western Digital drives, sounds stupid I know
and
If I installed the new drives, and I wanted them in RAID 0, how would I move the hard drives around? If I moved the hard drive with the OS then would cause me issues? If it would then would the best cause of action to backup the OS drive and copy it to the new drive?
Sorry if I made no sense in the questions, I's rather be sure what I'm doing that screw up hard drives somehow
Thanks
