Well, I reformatted via the directions you posted and while Windows installed, I blue screened. So two conclusions.

1. $600 paperweight. I quit.
2. Hardware issue. My graphics card must have melted altogether. I'll try replacing once I un-FUBAR my laptop.

Is ur laptop in warranty?if yes take it back to the shop because something is wrong with HARDWARE.
