You do not need Sata Controller Drivers in BIOS.

If he can't see any of his drive's maybe you have a better solution, i may have worded it without enough detail but i think i've done enough clean installs with and without SATA controller drivers to know what i was talking about.:huh:

The OP CD/DVD Drive & HD, do not show in BIOS.

When I do attempt to install Upgrade wont work at all, the second option brings me to a page asking me to select drivers and stuff, from there you can see your computer

C: when clicked asks me to insert a disk
E and F are my SD card and USB
X: I have no idea, but this same Drive appears when I go into the CMD, and also it contains windows files.

I agree. He said the Cd/DVD had power and the hard drive would spin up so I vote for MOBO.

I'm reluctant to believe that as I didn't have any problems until AVG deleted those system files.

I had cleaned my fans the night before as my computer was not booting, after cleaning it worked played around for Maybe 4 hours, left it on awoke to a frozen black screen.

So what does that rule out/validate as the problem.

My original issue was 100% hardware, after the original cleaning and successful boot afterwards I got a Trojan in those 32 files, mindlessly deleted them causing my boot problems, but now my HDD CD/DVD seem to be having issues too.

Preventing me from fixing my boot Problems.

I also bought a new 2032 battery for my mobo yesterday.

The only periphial I know of that will ask you to insert a disk if you try to access it is a Cd/DVD. If you have an installation disk or any bootable disk, try it.​
