thanks, I really hate those types of rogues.... the other day it happened to my mum's Mini Netbook running XP, she thought there was a real threat.. these guys are really nasty, to trick the un-suspecting novice users into thinking they need to buy this thing or will loose all there data...

interesting thought... you know the goverement is quick to talk to ISPs about websites that have eligitamate material or child pornography, but they don't do anything to scam sites like these.....

This really isn't a company, but a malicious hacker.

I tried to locate a download link to turn over to the proper authorities, but couldn't locate one.

For the inexperienced Mom or Pop user, they think it's legit.

I can't tell you how many times I've had to clean computers of this type of garbage along with game sites and coupon addicts.

Spyware Removal Tools

This site notifies users of rogue software. In WOT however, it is claimed to be a Malware site and has a poor rating. I think the people reporting this are mistaken.

Anyway, some of the rogue software it claims are rogues are Windows Security Suite, Wini-fighter and PC Security 2009. Do not download any Rogue Software that they mention on the site.
