What annoys me? Hmm..

It's sort of annoys me when people I do a detailed analyse for, either don't answer, or put the responsibility on me and think I'm the one to do all the job. We're here to help for good, trying to be nice.
Glad we have lots of new users that are happy with what we're doing here at SF!

That's just my thought.

Centigrade is convenient in that 0 is the freezing point of water and 100 is the boiling point. Kelvin, however, can be said to have a more positive attitude. There can be no negative value. If it hits 0 that's the ball game. Although I have to admit it's only "self-documenting" on one end of the scale. 273 degrees just to get an ice cube is hardly intuitive.

One year we were skiing at mount snow in Vermont. They closed the slopes for 3 days because the windchill was minus 60F. Boy was that cold. Even my dogs did not want to leave the hotel for a walk.

Julian, this is a sad situation. But I think most of us have been thru similar scenario with our kids. My son NOW tells me that I should have been tougher with him at the time. But now he is nearly 50 and faces the problem with his own daughter..
