IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Blue Screens Randomly

Hi all, I seen a post about this a year ago and couldn't find anything useful so I decided to post my own.

I'm really in desperate need of some help, I'm receiving a blue screen (0x0000000A - IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL) when I do something, I'll be playing a game, watching videos or even just skyping and I'll get this blue screen. The PC is brand new, it was built and I installed what came with it and updated drivers. To my knowledge there are no drivers that need updating now, the PC runs fine apart from this blue screen - if anyone could analyse it or help me out I'd be extremely grateful!

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

If you are overclocking STOP.

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:

* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

I have changed the settings for the syscpl thing, I ran the Windows_NT6_BSOD exe and I bluescreened right at the end. I didn't want to upload partially written data so I deleted it - I need to wait for another blue screen to occur for the next one as they don't seem to be there. I'll post one within the next couple of hours, if that.

Please keep an eye out for updates as I'll be checking regularly for replies, I'll get the dmp file uploaded ASAP.

Hey JMH, could you take a look at this?
I'm receiving some replacement RAM from my desktop manufacturer, they believe it could be what's causing this error. Could you still take a look at my minidump?

Related to RtNdPt60.sys NDIS User mode I/O Driver from Microsoft. Your should have been updated by the OS when you did SP-1 but wasnt. Remove if not needed


Related to AODDriver2.sys AMD OverDrive Service Driver from Advanced Micro Devices Has problem with win 7

If you are overclocking stop at least to test.


You can also remove the AppleCharger as USB will charge your device natively.

Avast can be a contributing cause of BSOD'S .
Please remove and replace with Microsoft Security Essentials AT LEAST TO TEST.

Zigzag, remove SP-1? Also, I can update RtNdPt60.sys(I think) from Realtek Website, should I do that?

Also, removed Avast and replaced with MSE. Running SFC now

Here is the result in sfcdetails.txt, it said it found corrupted files but was unable to fix them. I'm not gonna go browsing through there but take a look.

Run it a total of three times if it still cant fix them (and they are important files) then you are going to have to do a repair install.

It seems to have worked, thanks. I dunno if the blue screens will persist but I ran MemTest and got 6 errors on my RAM at 40% then I BSoD'd again. Apparently my RAM is faulty and they'll send a replacement.
