Solved PC Freezes and makes Buzzing Noise when Running Programs

For a third time: now would be a good time to follow the http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-debugging/96879-blue-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html to provide us with the crash reports and determine what driver is causing issues.

Just got round to updating them. Here's the files from the most recent bluescreen I had, which said it was a memory error. I have run Memtest about 6 times with no errors. So maybe it could be something to do with the motherboard? Planning on upgrading mine anyway to an i7 processor. By the way, my hard disk is also error-free.

• Download and install CPU-Z and Upload screenshots of the CPU, Mainboard, Memory, and SPD tabs. In the SPD tab, upload an image of each slot.

I have all latest drivers for all of those. I suppose another few runs of memtest won't hurt, but upgrading my RAM was also on my list of things (I'm going to go from 4 to 8GB I think). Again, thanks for your help, much appreciated

Have you tried removing one module and seeing if Windows runs stable on just one module at a time. The goal is to do the same thing as in Part 3 of the Memtest86+ tutorial except instead of testing each module and slot by running Memtest86+, you test by doing your normal routine in Windows and see if Windows still crashes. If it does, either the module or the slot being tested is bad. If Windows is stable, the module and slot are good.

Avoid Static Damage to Your PC when swapping memory modules.

I have 2 2GB modules which came with my PC, which I believe are the same. I'll run Memtest again all day today, with one module at a time.

Windows may be a better method to test the RAM. While Memtest86+ has effective testing, it does not stress the RAM in the same way that Windows does, so sometimes it does not catch errors as well as just doing your normal routine in Windows might. See if one module/slot allows Windows to run without crashing.

Okay, I'll try that. I'm trying to get the info from the latest crash but it's bluescreening so much that this is the fifth time of trying. Will attach them when (or if) they're done.

Okay, been running on one memory module for 4/5 weeks now. Everything works fine, no crashes or freezing. I'm currently using a USB memory stick with ReadyBoost to give it a well needed speed up until I get some more memory. Seems to be fine, thanks!

Hello guys, I've had the freezing problem for months and so far no solution. My laptop runs fine when I play games, or browse, as long as i don't watch videos or listen to music, it doesn't mind if online or from my drive. Tried different software but no luck. I would think it's hardware, but i don't have this problem on linux.I ran windows 8 for a few days, didn't see the freezing there, but I don't like the OS.
I think the problem is with the audio drivers or something, I tried old and new ones, but no result.
I am running win7 ultimate 32bit (64 doesn't help either). My laptop is Acer Extensa 5635zg. I attach the Windows_NT6_BSOD_jcgriff2 report+ the everest report inside the zip, where you can find the hardware information about my laptop.
Laptop has been running fine for 2 years, I've had it for 3.

Hello guys i have the same problem can some one help me please!!! I reinstall windows 10 times and the problem is still going i have this problem for like 3-4 weeks! When i am doing stuff on the pc the screen just freez and buzzing noise is coming from the speakers!!! I clean the pc inside and check if everything is connected and it is i do scan my pc with Malware bytes and AdwCleaner and nothing showed up!! Hare is the SFdebufFiles so please some one help me this is my last hope!!!
