Hard disk is failing? Error message"File record segment is unreadable"

Is my hard disk failing?

A Ubuntu boot Mual is booting from a Ubuntu OS disk then you access the C: or E: or whatever drive from the Ubuntu OS while it is running. Windows will not be running at all!

You need to make a Ubuntu boot disk first.

Create a USB stick on Ubuntu | Ubuntu then set your BIOS to boot from the USB.

Hello...
But I already manage to copy all the file and I don't think I need it anymore? Maybe I'll just download and keep it, and next time any problem occurs I will use this as a trying?

UPDATE:

I'm done copying all the things I need, but when I wanted to format the HDD, it does not work! Windows pop-up a message saying that "Windows cannot format the HDD" etc....
So what is the problem with that error now?

Most likely you were trying to format the C: drive, with the operating system on it, from within the operating system (while Windows was running). You can't do that. You will need to format the drive from outside the OS. Most people use DISKPART run from their installation DVD to do this, but you can use other 3rd party programs too, like Partition Wizard on bootable CD.

I am confused because you state you have 3 hard drives - meaning 3 individual devices - in your PC. So if the hard drive that has the E: partition on it is failing, why do you need to do anything with the (separate) hard drive that has C: and Windows on it? Who told you you should do that, and what problem is that supposed to solve?

I'm was gonna format the E: drive which was the one I told you that it is damaged. So II should be able to do that in Windows isn't? But I can't, it just pop-up that message.
Sorry to confused you, yes I have 3 HDD.
Because the guy told me to format the C: (With the windows on it) then only can know what is the problem with the E:, and I don't know why I must format? I don't think is needed....
The problem suppose to solve is the E: drive, because is failing and running slowly. The E: drive that is cannot be format.

No, do not format C: . You have already determined that the problem is the failing E: drive and not Windows.

One thing you can try (to format that E: drive) is to go to Disk Management, select the E: drive and right click on the partition, and then choose to "Delete Volume".
If that is successful the drive (in Disk Management) will be black and marked as "Unallocated". Then you may be able to format the drive (from Disk Management). Right click and choose "New Simple Volume".

Then that guy who told me is wrong? His working at a company that fixes and sell computer part

I see, I'll give it a shot, I already disconnected the drive hours ago, so I'll connect it to the system and try again soon.

What that could be telling you is that the drive is too badly damaged to even begin formatting.
I am assuming that you ran the hard drive manufacturer's diagnostic program on the drive already.

Now that the drive is just unallocated space, try formatting it using a third party program like Partition Wizard.
Free Partition Magic alternative, partition manager freeware, partition magic server, partition magic Windows 7 and free Partition Manager software for Windows 7/8/VISTA/XP/2000 and Windows Server 2003/2008/2000.
Use the Bootable CD.

If PW does not work the you could try performing a "disk wipe" using Windows Diskpart from your installation or Repair DVD.
You will want to do a "Clean All" procedure.
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/52129-disk-clean-clean-all-diskpart-command.html
That may correct the disk errors and make the disk usable again.

If either of these 3 things do not work then I suggest you located the nearest trash bin and deposit the failed hard drive into it.

Mual - You stated you were able to recover your data, or most of it. Did you use a recovery tool or just drag and drop in windows?

I"ve got a 1tb drive that has a ton of bad sectors on it, and windows is struggling *(3 days of chkdsk so far) *, and I can get RecoverMyData and it sees the data but freezes before i can save any of it. Desperately trying to recover at least 2gigs of pictures and other various 'important' stuff. Tried GParted, and a slew of other recovery programs. Just wondering if you used one, and if so, what was it called.
