I had corrupted files which file checker cound not repair and a repair install failed due to a bad iso, so I have a frech install from a fresh iso image. It only took 1 day.

My OS is split over two drives now, I think I'll pass on trying a RAM disk, they sound complicated and I don't see an advantage?

Yessir, it is. 4x4GB, they didn't have the 8GB stick at the time I bought these.

I bumped my bus speed to 102 once and got a shade past 30,000 in winsat, but the CPU didn't like it.
