Windows Not Booting

when I type findstr /c:"[SR]" F:\CBS.log I get that this is not a recognized internal or external command

try to use:

find /i  "[SR]"  F:\CBS.LOG > F:\sfcdetails.txt

file not found

So F:\CBS.LOG is not there?

Did you do
set WINDOWS_TRACING_LOGFILE=F:\CBS.log
prior to running sfc/scannow?

To be honest I read on internet that WINDOWS_TRACING_LOGFILE is only working on VISTA. I thought maybe old article so also working on win7. Not many references to that setting. Don't know how to log it to a file. But I can't imagine win7 doesn't boot at all due to this. All is fine!! Except sfc/scannow (which is probably so for a long time).

I hate startup repair doesn't tell what is wrong!

Do you have a win7 install dvd or win7 system repair disc?

I cleaned it a bit. So many errors!! Impossible to solve. Unless you can do a repair install. Do what I asked in post #11

I do have another laptop with Windows 7 Ultimate and also an Ubuntu Bootable USB. Can I do something with that

BTW can you boot succesfully to "safe mode"? Or EXACT same problem... it enters recovery mode immediately. No visible signs that it tries to boot to safe mode at all?

No it doesn't boot to the safe mode. On start up it asks me choose between "Startup Repair" and "Start Windows Normally"
I choose "Start Windows Normally", it goes into Windows Startup Repair
