Hello everyone, this is my first post on here :)

I recently tried to start up my laptop from sleep mode, just opening the lid, and it started up normally and I entered my password like normal, but once the desktop loaded it went to the blue screen. I didn't have any time to read the error codes because I wasn't looking at the computer at first, and just caught it at the end of the BSOD.

I looked at some of the info in BlueScreenView and it said the problem might be with ntoskrnl.exe, if that is any help.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

It's better if you run it overnight

Uninstall These programs

Code:
avast! Free Antivirus
DAEMON Tools Lite
Spybot - Search & Destroy 2

Install MSE instead of AVAST

Okay so I ran the memory test overnight, and it didn't get through the full 7 tests like the post you linked said, but it went through 5 and didn't give any errors. (I can run it again tonight if 7 tests are really needed)

Also I uninstalled those programs you listed.

Ohh wow okay well I uninstalled Avast so hopefully the BSOD won't happen again. Thanks for your help!

I think it might have been hibernate actually, sorry for misleading title, I forgot I actually changed that a couple days ago lol.
