Hi and welcome X7Z,

You couldn't be any more cryptic if you tried.

I tried reading it 3 times over, but still don't have a clue what you problem/question is.

Please try to format your text a little, keep to the facts, and refrain from to many on the side comments.

First welcome to Seven Forums :D

Trying to figure out why you have so many drives. Are these all partitions generated from the two on board HDDs. I understand the two network drives, but am at a loss as to the rest. Can you break it down into columns so it would be easier to read, thus understand where you need help. :)

To answer the OP's question: No. You need to eliminate your assignments to A and B first.

Then, ask a more lucid question.

This is a very simple problem I have 3 internal drives C:my main drive has Vista Home Pre.on it Works great for Vista. Thats not were the problem is Second and third Drives are a main drive and an Acronis backup drive A:drive has Windows 7.7600... B:dirve is the backup.I know A: should have been caled C:drive well on a dual boot you can't have two C:drives A: was empty so I used it as my Main drive for my Windows7. Well here is the problem Windows Exp.Ind. on my Windows 7:Drive (A:) would like to save The windows experience index file on Drive C: Witch is the wrong drive it should be trying to save it on the drive from witch it came from, A:.Well it shouldn't realty be a problem if I could find the command line to editing to change a drive letter in the command to save the file on any Hard drive or any ware for it's further use. Know with Vista I or anybody can go in and alter there WEI to any # they would like it' very easy. With W7 it's just as easy so If any body knows were I can find the file I need to alter C:Drive -TO- A:Drive Please let me know.Thank-you all for your time.

Hi X7Z,

Again I had to read your post several times to make any cheese from it. (Dutch expression :D)
Before I am going to tell you how to solve your problem, I really need to ask you to (next time) do a better job at formating your text.

I just skipped a line to make my text easier to read.
When you write your post, there is a "Preview Post" button.
It's there for you to see how your post is going to look to others.
Every time you write a few lines, you can click on "Preview Post" to check how it all looks.

Now I skipped a line because I am changing the subject.

To elaborate on your question.
Wei scores are by default saved in: C:\Windows\Performance\WinSAT\DataStore
They are saved as XML files, so to edit them you'll need a XML editor,
because editing them in notepad is as daunting as reading your first post. :D

The file you need to edit is: 2009-07-27 03.48.02.989 Formal.Assessment (Initial).WinSAT.xml
(Look for the one with the latest date)

In the XML file look for the section starting with <WinSPR>

<WinSPR>
<SystemScore>1</SystemScore>
<MemoryScore>4</MemoryScore>
<CpuScore>3.2</CpuScore>
<CPUSubAggScore>3.5</CPUSubAggScore>
<VideoEncodeScore>3.7</VideoEncodeScore>
<GraphicsScore>1.9</GraphicsScore>
<Dx9SubScore>1</Dx9SubScore>
<Dx10SubScore>0</Dx10SubScore>
<GamingScore>1</GamingScore>
<StdDefPlaybackScore>TRUE</StdDefPlaybackScore>
<HighDefPlaybackScore>FALSE</HighDefPlaybackScore>
<DiskScore>4.5</DiskScore>

Change the scores, save the xml to A:\Windows\Performance\WinSAT\DataStore

That should do the trick.

Good luck.

PS. looking forward to your next (properly formatted) question. :D:D:D

X7Z;

With Windows 7, in dual boot mode, I like to set the hard drive I am booting to, for example Windows 7, as the C: drive, and in this case the Vista drive as another letter. Then when I boot into another OS, like Vista, I set that hard drive to C: and the Windows 7 drive to another letter. That way, whatever OS I boot to becomes the C: drive.

The WEI score is still not the problem. Getting it to save a score on a different drive is the problem. Changing the drive letter would fix the problem.
