Solved BF4

For those who don't play the SP campaign, The only way to get a couple of the weapon's is by doing the SP and one part has to be done 3 times in order to unlock the M249.

The 249 and the PKP were my favorites in BF3, I will be sure to unlock it.

Yeah the M249 is a bit of a brute enit, I like the U-100 MK5 when using the Support class but I'll have to come back to it once I've finished unlocking everything else

So you mean you missed out on all the fun Doug had, he said it was great and really enjoyed it, how can you not play the offline game? You should try it, you might love it, Doug has a screenshot of every scene from every level in case you missed it. Yep 2000 screetshots of pure perfection my man!

Having said that I will just head straight to the MP too haha.

I skimmed through the screen shots in this thread, pretty epic I plan on conquering the SP gaming, but literally have about 30 minutes under my belt in BF4 because of some bugs I'm working out (See my other thread)

I gotta pick up SP gaming for sure though!

I swore I would not buy this game. But, I am holding Doug personally responsible for the fact that it is downloading now. It is totally and completely Doug's fault. Plus, at my download speed, Paul will receive his copy before my download finishes. It better be real good Doug.

Steve was right, it turned up 2 days early and the poor fellow is still downloading it as we speak

He's right. Talking about being bit by a whole basket full of snakes, I was downloading yesterdau and had 67% downloaded. While working on the computer, I bumped the power cord which shut the whole thing down. When I started back up there was nothing there, nada! I looked everywhere, so had to start over. I'm at 29% now. If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all. But, I'll get there.... eventually. I'm backing up occasionally now. At least I won't have to start from 0 again.

I know, Dude. I was trying to be funny. Slow internet speed is bad enough, but doing it twice is a PITA. Just joking, I'm kind of used to the slow speed, but that doesn't mean I like it.

Slow internet is a pita. I had dsl when I lived in Iowa, it was painful.

Okay, found my first complaint. I could not use binoculars for some reason. I figured out that you have to have zoom set to click, where you have to hold the right mouse button for zoom. Low and behold I can now scroll down and pull up binoculars.

OK, this is not good news for me either, I HATE having to have my finger pressed to the key I am using for Zoom in order to, well... use the zoom

Do you HAVE TO use the Binocs all that much throughout the game? Are they a MUST HAVE/USE? if not, and if and when I get it, I will just have to do without because there is no way in hell I will bind my key to Click.

As far as you know, will there be a fix for this on any of the patches? or where you able to fix it later.

I'm a single player only type - but I may end up online with this one.

I'm witcha... these guys seem to be having WAY to much fun just with the SP, I can only imagine how giddy they will be once they get to the MP side. Don't tell anybody but I secretly hate them

Although for those who've played the SP campaign - have you noticed some of the dodgy AI like your squad mates standing next to the enemy who only start shooting when the enemy starts shooting at you?

Smarte, can you expand on this a little bit more... I was watching my friend play it for a few minutes yesterday (barely 10 mins and I left) and saw a part where they tell you to sync your shots but, either my friend didn't know what to do, he did it wrong or the teammate ai jump the shark because they started shooting before my friend fired the first shot. I hate to admit this but UBI did it better with GRFS .

Now, being said that, I believe this part was at the beginning of the game so my friend could of have not been ready or to green to know the controls as of yet... I left after that so I don't know what happened next.

Thanks Solar. I appreciate it. I live in a small rural community. We have 1 option for 'high speed' internet. After taxes, fees and everything else, I pay $78 a month and get 1 MB. I hate being held captive,but such is life I guess. Trust me, tech support knows me on a first name basis. I get PO'd having to pay that much and can't watch a you tube video without a lot of grief.
