Bitdefender crashed and now windows wont boot

Installed bitdefender antivirus plus today, and about 2 hrs later my laptop bluescreened. Windows tried to do its own self repair and restarted and now it doesnt even see a bootable device. Customer service guy says i need a windows 7 boot disk to be able to do anything as i am not able to boot into safe mode or anything. Is it possible to make a boot disk on another device ? or what can i do.

I personally would call bitdefender and ask for help. It is their product after all. I haven't heard or read any reports of this happening lately with there products. They are a pretty good antivirus company.

It's possible the Bsod could be caused by an infection on your pc.

What exact error do you get if you (try to) boot now?
