Intermittent explorer.exe crashes in Windows 7 Professional x64

Hi guys,

This is my first post but I have been a lurker for a while trying to figure out a solution to my problem. I've been having intermittent explorer.exe crashes in Windows 7 x64 for some time now. It started earlier this year and I have been unable to solve the problem. I've done multiple Windows 7 clean reinstalls but the issue simply returns. I have a thread over on Anandtech that describes the problem in detail: Windows 7 x64 Intermittent Explorer Crashes - AnandTech Forums. The thread has crash dump analysis via WinDbg. This issue is becoming very frustrating since I have been actively investigating it for many months now. Do you guys have any ideas on things to try? I would really appreciate any insight into this problem.

have you also reinstalled all the updates and sp1 plus the updates since sp1?

Yes, all the lastest Windows updates have been installed.
