Hi, I have a computer with hardware capable of running almost all current titles, EG Bf3, Dota2, counter strike GO, that was until a few months ago.
I started experiencing serious ping issues / packet loss in games causing me to completely freeze, then re-appear where I would have been. On counter strike source "string_cmds" graph peaks when this occurs.
The problem has got worse now, though, I can't play more then 10 minutes of ANY game before something goes wrong, be it a game crash or my whole computer shuts down resulting in one of the many Blue screen Stop errors I have said.
The game will run perfectly smooth, then suddenly my whole computer will shut down. This can happen about 5 times a day depending on how willing I am to restart the game.
Google chrome has just started to crash frequently now, too, and with limited income being 16 I need to fix this rather buy a new pc.
I don't know whether this will be useful but the address for one of them ( I've had well over 100 by now) Is "at FFFFF8801047D000" and another.." STOP: 0x00000019"

Welcome to SevenForums,

I have had a look at your last 3 DMP Files, 2 of them are referencing memory.

Can you try these steps for me :)

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.

If there is no error, enable Driver Verifier to monitor the drivers.

   Warning
Before enabling DV, make it sure that you have earlier System restore points made in your computer. You can check it easily by using CCleaner looking at Tools > System Restore.

If there is no points, make a System Restore Point manually before enabling DV.

   Tip

Hi, firstly thanks for your help! I wouldn't know where to start analysing those things,
I have run memory verifier for windows multiple times with no issues reported but will run this one through too.
I have also done a driver verifier with no errors found.

I will get back to you with the results once I've done them both again:)!

Brilliant, if you use memtest+ it can take upto 20 hours, but it is much more accurate :)

Harrie, there are twenty six dumps in the logs dating back one month, and the last two (the two from yesterday) are pointing out the ATI driver. Wouldn't it be best to look at all of them first before offering advice?

I can see this will take some time, Is there a way to do this without Burning a CD? is windows memory tester good enough?

Didn't see your response, ignore this:) - I have college tomorrow so I guess I could get the mem tests done by tuesday?

I' happy to heed both of your opinions as you will without doubt know a lot more than me haha.

I updated my graphics drivers at the same date as I ran the memory tests as I thought it may have been a source of the BSODs, I was crashing before updating them and am still crashing after.

didn't run on boot up and only advice on the page is to " select USB to boot first" or something along those lines. Went into the BIOS advanced settings and hadn't a clue what to do and was afraid of changing the wrong setting , what do?;(

It's been a while but... the pc is still alive and I ran memtest today for 2 passes and got 0 errors. Still clueless as to what is causing these regular crashes.

As the tutorial explained, you need to run 8 consecutive passes of MemTest86+.........running 2 now, then 2 later, then 2 the next day is insufficient to cycle through all the tests.

I read on a forum that the screen usually fills with errors on the first pass - I'll run it overnight tonight and see how many passes it's done :)
