On my Windows 8.1 Desktop, everything was installed successfully in one restart. But on my Windows 8.1 Laptop, I had to restart twice because during the first restart, it stopped at the 4th update and just rebooted. So I restarted again and everything else got installed.

That is because the update was withdrawn rewritten and reposted. The issue was we were supposed to agree to some conditions but were never shown a box to agree and press next and exit on every system. Some worked most did not 1 of 4 of mine worked. If you read the thread I would not have to write it out again. Just saying......:zip:

This is not the first time. Happened same in December updates.
I guess seven users should forget installing updates on first day of release.
Better install them after a week or so.

Perhaps microsoft isn't properly testing updates for "OLD" OS now. :)
