For my moderboard MSI P55A-GD65 the trivers are posible to download from produce web page.

I don't know which archiv but the folder name is this

marvell_sata3_vx7_mb\SCSI miniport driver\Floppy64

You must update your device's driver and navigate to this folder to install these drivers.

PS: If you are looking for part number try to turn your PC on and check while it's detecting the Marvell device - it should print out the part number or some information about it.

Windows 10 does this automatically

I realize this post has been dormant for almost a year, but I had been struggling with finding the right way to do this for a lot of hours before I discovered that Windows 10 installs these drivers automatically. If you want less of a headache and are still trying to install Windows 7...save yourself the pain and upgrade the OS.

I hope this saves someone else the agony of what some of us have been through trying to get this motherboard to install Windows 7.

If done correctly you should have no problems installing Windows 7 on that motherboard.
It does have UEFI bios but the forum has tutorial that cover that.

Just as a by the by I bought an Asus ROG laptop last year and being a 8 OS originally I had the seller downgrade it to 7. Now he catch was to download 7 drivers I had to update the BIOS to the latest version.

Did you get any messages like that when trying to get 7 drivers installed? See this and check your BIOS is up to date ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Driver & Tools - P8P67 LE

On the 10 issue yes upgrading is the way to go as I put it on two of my machines - the desktop went ok and carried my settings across but the laptop failed dismally baulking at build 10074 I think it was and kept asking for me to activate it from some sticker on the product purchase box which of course I don't have because it was loaded from the ISO they put out the very same that the desktop was loaded from.
I cannot get any sense out of Microsoft in any form on what the heck is going on but no worries 7 is back on it as I am not overly keen on 10 anyway.

Does anyone know how to stop the Marvell driver from showing the attached drives as Ejectable?

There are no Windows 10 drivers, so I am still using the Windows 7 ones.

Before I installed the Intel Storage Manager the drives attached to my standard SATA ports also showed up as ejectable.

I did find a GUID that should have provided a policy page that should have at least managed to hide the drives from the safely remove hardware feature, but it doesn't do anything on Windows 10

Hello and welcome Stone Free mate please post your own thread I know it is tempting to see something of a similar issue and ask but trying to answer two people in one thread is very distracting and leads to a lot of confusion.
I see also you are running 10 and that is best asked in that forum it is crewed by the same folks as in here and the 8 forum - is 10 specific as the OS is quite different to 7 or 8 and the folks over there are better qualified to answer your query.
I am not trying to fob you off or sound like I am being officious - just that you will get better help there;) Just sign up as you did for this forum use the same ID and password if you like I do;)
