Capture new Windows 7 Updates Pre-Installation & print to a TEXT file.
Good evening,
I have my system set to never check for Windows Updates.
Now let's say I manually run check for Windows Updates and it comes back with 50 Windows Updates for example in the Windows Update screen.
Can anyone please tell me where MS stores these Windows Update files before I either select the Windows Updates to install or not install.
What I want to do is to somehow capture ALL the Windows Updates on the screen and output them to a text file somehow.
I have see a bit of free software called SysExporter that says it can do this sort of thing.
I just need to know where the updates are kept pre-installation please.
If anyone knows of something similar that can do this then please let me know.
Could this possibly be done from an elevated command prompt perhaps?
Thanks in advance.
EDIT:
This will also be useful to list files in a folder etc.
