Solved BSOD 0x124 and other random errors before and after reformat

I'm getting a BSOD randomly after playing a game. Different error each time (i.e. 0x124, 0x7, dxgmms1.sys, 0x1 Bad Pool Header, 0x19 Bad Pool Header etc.) 0x124 is the most common error I'm getting.

What I've tried so far:

- Memtest: I ran it for 10h - no errors found
- HD Tune pro/Crystal Disk Mark: no errors found on my harddrive
- Furmark: no errors found on my GPU
- I reformated my computer: after the format I installed my GPU drivers and one network adapter driver. Before the reformat I had BSOD every 5 min or instantly after a reboot. Now I'm getting them only after a few hours or if I start a game.
- I tried driver sweeper and reinstalling said drivers - same problem
- I then ran Prime95+: I ran it for an hour (during which time no errors were detected). Then I got the BSOD. I don't know whether there is a correlation since I'm getting BSOD randomly with or without running Prime95. The heat of my CPU never exceeded 66°C during the test.
- I also tested my current graph card on a different computer and it worked fine.
- I tested an AMD Raeden graphic card on my computer after doing a complete driver sweep. I still got the same BSOD error 0x124.
- I checked Bios. Did not see any overlock.
- I removed my ram sticks one by one - still got BSOD
- Checked temperatures. My CPU temps never increased about 40-50°C while playing. At idle, temps are around 30-35°C.

My comp specs:
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Intel Core i5 3470@3,20 GZ
Mainboard MSI B75A-G41 Ivybridge
Nvidia Gfeorce GTX 680
12GB Ram
PSU: 650V

I read many threads here about said problem but none of the solutions helped me identify the problem.

Thank you in advance for the help.

Extra information: after running Internalburn Test, I got BSOD after 30 seconds with the 0x124 error. Every time I run Internalburn Test I get the BSOD very quickly.

That points to a CPU thermal problem.

Check your existing cooling fan arrangements (working? adequate? clean?), and then re-seat the CPU cooler/s with new highly quality thermal paste. Google for information on how to clean off old thermal paste and reseat CPU coolers - this is important to get right.

FYI - some info on how IBT works and what it means:

I ran Prime95+.
"FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.498046875, expected less than 0.4
Hardware failure detected, consult stress.txt file.".
I consulted the stress.txt file but it's a simple repeat of the above. What does this error mean? Is my CPU defective or is my ram faulty? (ps. I'm not running an overlock)

As I pointed out earlier, this is very likely a CPU temperature problem - not necessarily a hardware failure. Follow the advice about cooling fans and re-seating the CPU cooler.

I replaced the thermal paste. There was no dust in the fans.
However, it didn't help. The more I use the computer, the more frequently I'm getting the BSOD errors. Mostly 0x124 but now 0x3b as well. I did a driver sweep and even a format. Same errors keep popping up.
I even installed an authenticated copy of Windows 7 on a brand new harddrive. Pb still occured minutes after the install.
Now the computer only starts in safe mode. I get an instant BSOD during normal start up.

Is it possible that my fan is not good enough for my CPU?

What temperature is the CPU running at after new thermal paste was applied?

Between 31°C-33°C at idle instead of 34°C-37°C. During gaming it rises to around 55°C, maybe 60° during its peak.
