Solved How make internet shortcut open in IE instead of Chrome default?

I have a website that only works in IE and not my Chrome default.
Since I have both browsers how do I force the default for this website to open in IE?

One solution might be to do the following . . .

Click Start.
Click Programs.
Right-click the website icon [IE in your case]
Click Send to.
Click Desktop [create shortcut].
Right-click the shortcut on the desktop.
Click Properties.
On the Shortcut tab click the Target field.
Move the cursor to the end of the text.
Press the spacebar to create a space.
Type the URL of the website you want to open with IE.
Click Apply.
Click the General tab.
Name the shortcut.
Click Apply.
Click OK.

The only problem is when I click Start > Programs (in Win7) I found no "Internet Explorer" which I wanted to convert to.

So I just took my existing IE shortcut on the desktop and followed the balance of your instruction to "Send To" etc and it worked!.

You can easily create another IE shortcut on the desktop or even add IE to the quick launch area.
