I just checked by running installer and it prompts for Drivers on the drive selection screen after you select Custom, bottom left link.

It may be looking for 64 bit SATA controller for that model and can't find it in drivers/driverstore.

Here is your SATA controller: Intel Corporation ICH9M/M-E SATA AHCI Controller

Follow his advice for getting the SATA controller driver into the installer when it prompts for driver for CD/DVD, or earlier when it prompts for driver by using the F6-key to load drivers. He thinks it might need the SATA controller, providing your CD/DVD drive is SATA.

so wen do i press f6 and wut do i do
sory but i dont understand wut ur saying
please explain it like i wuz 5 yers old
LOL
THANKS!
sry for trubbling u

Find the 64 bit driver for it, unzip on flash stick or CD, browse to it from link when Installer reaches the Custom>Drive selection screen>lower left hand link to add drivers.

If you can't go this route to overcome the error, then we still should try to boot from USB stick since you have 4gb. Plug in, in Disk Management right click and format Primary, copy 7 folders from DVD into root of Flash exactly as they appear on DVD, then reboot machine, press Boot Menu key and select flash stick from Hard Drives listed.

can u help me find that please? i've been looking for a while now

THANKS!

OK while I look for it, put your USB stick in, go Disk Management, format it Primary and copy the folders from your Win7 disk into it (7 folders into the root of the stick, just as in DVD). Try booting from that as I outlined above.

Ok I have attached the Intel 64 bit SATA controller file. View attachment 39801

It is an .exe so you will need to SAVE it to your desktop, run the .exe from your desktop to unzip the files, abort the install (it won't install anyway), then browse on your flash stick to system root (C:?) where you find it in a Drivers folder.
