I just built this pc a few days ago. Im not sure what is causing the BSOD's. Seems to happen when i stress the system with a game. I have attached the only 2 dump files that were created, although it has blue screened more than 2 times. Thank you in advance for any help.

Hello
Both of those BSoDs were caused by bad memory, so I suggest running MemTest86+ for a few passes to make sure your RAM is ok: http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lockup-debug-how/53854-check-your-ram.html

Also, these drivers should be updated:
Code:
secdrv secdrv.SYS Wed Sep 13 06:18:38 2006
WinRing0x64 WinRing0x64.sys Sat Jul 26 06:29:37 2008
usbaapl64 usbaapl64.sys Tue Sep 16 09:08:03 2008

You should update your Motherboard drivers, as well as the rest of your drivers.

iTunes 8 coupled with the usbaapl64.sys file seems to have created BSoDs in the past, so make sure you are using the latest iTunes.

Now that im thinking about it, i installed windows 7 on my old hard drive without formatting it. Most likely the bsod's from the past were from my old system.

That seems a little odd. Do you mean Dumps from the old system, or that you received BSoDs with 7?

I may have read that wrong, are you saying that it's possible for itunes and that .sys file can cause bsods?

Two dumps i zipped and attached are from my new setup. What i was saying that there is an old install of windows xp and a bunch of old files on the harddrive. Windows 7 did not require me to reformat before installing.

I cannot seem to get my computer to boot from the usb. I have not been able to test the memory, but i think im going to go to the store and exchange my ocz platinum for the corsair xms3 anyways, i will also purchase a new harddrive and a new cd-rom because my ide cd rom isnt working anymore either. I will start from scratch with a new install of windows 7 and different ram and see if i can reproduce the blue screens.
