I noticed once that my system was shutdown and when I pressed the power button, it did a boot process and it said 'Resuming Windows' and then it was the same software that I was working on was there.

How can I set Windows to shutdown after like 5 minutes? Also, when I press Power, I want to see the process and it should say 'Resuming Windows'.

that's why the system will resume and recovery last you're using..

try to change your keyboard..if mouse rather..
just use keyboard and try shutdown like normal..

What I want to know is that, where is this option to shutdown windows so I can test this option on my own? I want to see the 'Resuming Windows'.

"How can i set windows to shutdown after like 5 minutes"
Go to cmd, type in "shutdown" I don't know exactly how to make the command, but one of the commands should say /t XXX where XXX is the total amount of seconds.

If you go to Win+R, and type in shutdown -s, the computer automatically shutdowns in thirty seconds

I figured this out. I would have to set the PC to Hibernate and never to sleep from the Power Options.

Can the system automatically go into Hibernate without me setting it up if not used for lets say an hour?
