Hi anyone noticed any changes in performance going from 7000 to 7100? I'm coming off a clean install of 7000 (been using it for about 4 months now) just installed 7100 2 days ago (clean install) and booting up and shutting down seem to take a little while longer also loading apps seem to take 2-3 seconds more. I know its not much but I would have thought 7100 would have been faster if anything I admit I’ve not had time to test everything extensively but what I have done I have noticed a slow down in some areas your thoughts please.

In my case, I found that performance is better with 7100..

7100 and 7000 don't feel any different on my system. Except that 7000 did *not* like multiple monitors.

Beta 7000 with multiple monitors

I'm currently using 2 monitors with 7000 - And have been since last January.
Both are Nvidia, and set to 1280x1024 - one is on the ASUS mboard; the other is a Geforce 8400. Both fully (well, Beta) supported by Win7.

Perhaps your video card drivers are not fully functional in Win7?

My extended screen system works great- mind you I am not using any fancy Nvidia wallpaper/screen options (yet).

I had trouble using multiple monitors as well as S-VHS out to an old CRT TV. The problem got solved when I upgraded from the Catalyst 9.3 driver to 9.4 one for my Radeon HD4850. Never had any problems since then.

I was using the current ATI drivers for my card (4870x2).

Regardless, the issue is fixed, so...
