Over there years I have been a long time reader / lurker here. Never really made an account, more just ended up on here via Google searches for solutions. That said, a big thank you to everyone here who takes time out of their busy lives to help random strangers on the interwebs.

On to the deal: I get 0x0a stops frequently doing anything from gaming, to reading dumb things on reddit. There does not seem to be any kind of pattern here aside from the crash is almost always 0x0a BCC, IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and involving hal.dll and ntoskrnl.exe.

Out of the dozen or so BSODs I have only 2 are not 0x0a. One is a 0xd1 and one is 0x116. For now I would consider those one offs and not worry too much about them.

So far I have checked thermal levels during which I realized the video card I inherited from someone who smoked by his desktop a lot had some thermal issues which I sorted by cleaning it out. I would accept the fact that I may have cooked it but am really hoping that is not the case as I am not really financially able to get another card at the moment.

I have also ran memory tests (memtest86) overnight with 0 errors.

A lot of things have lead me to think nvidia drivers after some googling about but I am just really stumped here.

So out of the lurky shadows I come begging someone for help. This is driving me nuts!

I should also mention this has been going on for a while. I have installed a clean new install of windows 7 x64 within the last 2 weeks. That seemed to stop the problem for a while so I believed I had nicked it but today alone I have seen at least half a dozen crashes.
