Asteroid - dwarf planet...a rose by any other name is still a rose.
EDIT: I think they would have done just as well if that had created a category just call "Big Asteroids" rather than dwarf planets. It seems to me that this illustrates the significance...or insignificance of the "planets" they claimed to have discovered orbiting other distant starts and planets. Since they have difficulty classifying the ones in our own solar system, I doubt that they could do even as well with the distant ones, where the only evidence of them is possibly the effect on the orbit of the visible celestial body, or as I saw in one documentary, the fluctuation of the light emitted from it.
