This hdd is a 2tb, but only shows 1.8.

I realize that an amount is deducted, but 200gb?

I have a Seagate 2TB drive as my storage drive and when it was completely empty, it had 1.8TB total space.........just the way it goes. The bigger the drive, the more overhead you have. A 3TB drive will have more, and a 4TB will have even more overhead than that.
