Hi

Problem :

When I started up my computer today the internet explorer seemed to bug out. With bug out I mean it opens and closes instantly afterwards. Suddenly I see that I've available windows updates so I start to let it update but.. unfortunately here's where my problems starts.
They all seem to fail about 44 updates failed one by one. When I turn off the computer it updates those 44 again before shutting down completely ..

Now when I put the computer back on , and I log into my account I can see only 3 updates are available now (the other 41 are gone ? although when I check the log they're all failed). So I try to update those 3 and they fail as well and the other 41 are back in the list.

I've tried some things like installing "Microsoft fix it 5..*" There I got another error .. tried to fix it with : Error "The Windows Installer Service Could Not Be Accessed" when installing or updating programs on Windows 7 or Windows Vista
But It doesn't solve anything (all 4 steps that are requested)

I wonder what this could be and if there's someone that has any idea how to resolve this problem with my OS.

I've tried running a save mode and test it there , doesn't work either. I've also ran I virus scan ..
This is the result

(the error list is pretty big so I will only post if really needed )

The Log & the CDS zipped files are in the attachment

Greetz and thanks
Matthias

Did BullGuard actually remove the Trojan it found? I can't see any comment that it did so in the log.
I would suggest that your run an offline scanner such as WDO.... What is Windows Defender Offline?

Your CheckSUR log seems to be incomplete - there's no signoff in it.

You have a number of SXS errors

I think your easiest way forward may be a repair install of the OS - see the following tutorial....

Post an MGADiag report - it'll tell us exactly what's installed - apart from the language.

download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012
Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.
To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.

seems like the tool is crashing everytime that i'm clicking "continue" .
I also was reading about downloading a Professional and deleting the -/sources/'ei.cfg' <- file
Is that a possibility too or won't that work?

That would work - you MUST make sure that you enter your proper product Key during the install, though, as it's that which will set the installed edition.

Other options.
Click on Start
right-Click on Computer - select Properties
That will tell you if it's 64-bit, in the System sections as 'System type'

MSINFO32 will tell you

If you have a
C:\Program Files (x86)
folder - you probably have 64-bit Windows
If you don't then you almost certainly have 32-bit Windows.

still can't pass the compatibility phase .. it keeps saying I can't install something with a different language than the installed Windows. I guess I need a dutch SP1 Home premium x64 bit to complete the repair ?
