Ok, I've reran your calculation ONCE again, now in my Linux box, the result is still that same number. Anyway, I've scanned through your "Problem Recorder" results. Now I need you to read what that problem recorder's data. At "Problem Step 28", you pushed "4", "Problem Step 29" you pushed "0", then at "Problem Step 30" you pushed "Add", at according to your "doc.txt" file, that at that step you should enter "400", you're missing one "0", step 31 is "5", "step 32" is "0", "step 33" you pushed "Add". This is you, you are the problem, you entered 40 and 50 in the calculation where it should be 400 and 500... Anyway, here's a screenshot of your calculation running under Linux:

As you can see, the output is the same as any other "calculator" out there.

Have we considered that his calculator actually might be screwing up on him? Try copying calc.exe from the Windows folder on another machine, and replacing it on your machine.

If you are using the number keypad to do tha addition it could also be that your KB is screwing you over. It may feel like you are entering the numbers but for some reason they are not all making it to calculator.

That is a valid point - the executable might be corrupt for some reason. I have just tried again, this time following the steps of your Problem Recorder. Once more, I arrive at the same total as before, viz 1352.61.

Let me see... ah, my mistake... please forgive me (it's 2AM over here, my eyes didn't work correctly). But the calculation results still stands, see my Linux's screenshot...

The chance of having a corrupt exe work properly enough to not crash and have all the buttons operate but add the numbers wrong is /astonishingly tiny/

1) Fumbly fingers.
2) Keyboard issue.
3) Some other app chewing on keystrokes (keylogger, virus, insanely paranoid av software)
