Solved Accidentaly deleted folder from external drive

What is the best and fastest free method of recovering about 300 GB of data?
Data is movies, music and pics.
I have not written ANY other files to the drive, I realized my mistake 10 seconds AFTER the delete.
Any help greatly appreciated.

External drive is connected by e-sata.

Thanks for the suggestion.....I am currently 60 percent through the process with recuva.....If that don't work, I may try your suggested program.
