Activesync for Win 7 Starter

I have an Acer Aspire One and I need ActiveSync or other sync that will work with Win7 Starter and Dell Axim x5 PDA

Activesync and Windows 7 Starter

I installed the mobile device manager but the computer still does not recognize the Axim x5. I will keep trying. Thanks for your input.
