the problem i face with this card is that this card runs some games great

i play Call Of Duty MW2 And MW3 with this card
the game`s graphics are good but the text in these two games is not understandable
before this card i have ati X1550 card at dual core. It had the same problem. Then i searched for its display driver and after alot of searching i got its display driver from ati website and the problem was solved
but know this firegl v5200 card show same problem but i couldn't find any specific drivers for this card which may run these two games with the proper understandable text
I hope the Good team here will help me again in my this problem :D

This card is too old and no Official Windows 7 drivers were released. Try to install the Vista drivers in http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/316-compatibility-mode.html

http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownlo...ype=2.4.3&product=2.4.3.3.2.3.14&lang=English

Get a new card if possible
AMD’s DirectX 9 ATI FireGL graphics accelerators are not officially supported under Windows 7. If the user chooses to, they can install the ATI Catalyst Windows Vista graphics driver under Windows 7. Please be aware that none of the new Windows 7 graphics driver (WDDM 1.1) features are supported (as the Windows Vista level graphics driver is limited to WDDM 1.0 level support). Using the ATI Catalyst Windows Vista driver under Windows 7 is not officially supported by AMD, and as such AMD will not provide any form of customer support for users running in this configuration

Fixed the link :)

The driver dates back to 4/7/2009 and may not be 'stable'.

Seems to be overheating or possibly defects with the card itself, check the temperatures.
I would strongly recommend replacing that old card.
