Solved Auto-Hibernate

So my laptop auto-hibernates after 4 minutes IMMEDIATELY AFTER I installed the latest Windows 7 updates. I made sure it wasn't a power issue. I uninstalled 5 of the 11 updates (all it would let me uninstall). I don't have a restore point...So maybe not a Windows


FURTHER DETAILS:
My laptop was about 3 minutes into me waking it from hibernate, I put it to sleep, then turned it back on, and then it shut itself off almost immediately, which was at the 4 minutes mark of when it was woken up from hibernation. This 4 minute mark is where it always hibernates...even with sleeping in between.

Hello iarchitect and welcome to Seven Forums.

Try disabling the hibernate feature. If you actually use hibernate you could enable it again and it might do a "reset". If you don't use it leave it disabled. Added advantage is you'll gain about 75% of your total RAM in extra hard drive space.

Thanks much, I resolved the issue. I tend to have a hard time waking up in the morning so I tried to use a program to auto turn on my computer to a video. I tried this a month ago and it finally started to do something, so I uninstalled it. Thanks for the help though.
